At CDS, we’ve spent over a decade advancing infrared LED (IRLED) technology — and today, we’re proud to have built one of the largest collections of IRLED performance data in the world, exceeding 12 TB of detailed measurements.

Through collaborations with 13 LED manufacturers and multiple IRLED technologies, we’ve tested and characterized performance across drive levels, wavelengths, and temperatures.

The key to all this? Our universal micro-LED RIIC platform — MACH — which allows any LED vendor to easily integrate their devices and evaluate real-world performance. Combined with our Nessie drive electronics, MACH enables rapid, precise testing that accelerates innovation across the industry.

Because of this, vendors come to CDS not just for testing — but for insight. The breadth of data and experience we’ve accumulated makes CDS a critical partner in the evolution and development of micro-IRLED technology, from scene projectors to emerging infrared applications far beyond.

There’s truly no one else like CDS in this space — and we’re just getting started.
